Anya Glazer is a children’s book author and illustrator based in London. She has already proven to be hugely popular in the UK, following the September 2018 publication of her touching and funny debut Magical Pets (David Fickling Books), in which she gives instructions on how to care for magical and mystical beasts such as dragons and unicorns. She was Highly Commended for the Macmillan Prize in 2015, and prides herself on using pencil and digital methods in her work. She can often be found doodling dinosaurs, which is how Thesaurus Has a Secret came about, as well as other animals not yet extinct.
