We are thrilled for C.J. Tudor, whose chilling third novel The Other People is No. 9 on the Sunday Times paperback bestseller list this week, having sold over 6,000 copies in just over a week since publication.

The Other People has gone from strength to strength, hitting No. 11 on the hardback fiction list when it was first published in January 2020.

C.J. Tudor is already a bestselling author for her first two books, The Chalk Man and The Taking of Annie Thorne (US title: The Hiding Place). Now, her third novel is taking the world by storm. Harlan Coben called it ‘terrific’, while J.P Delaney said that this novel was ‘a mesmerizingly chilling and atmospheric page-turner’.

The book has been featured on a number of press roundups, including Bustle’s article on ‘must-read books‘ and ‘19 of the Best Book Releases in 2020‘, Woman & Home’s Best thriller books of 2020‘, and the Financial Times’ the best in new crime fiction – the depths of domestic noir‘. The New York Times said of the eerie thriller that ‘at the hands of Tudor, the real pain is yet to come.’

What a wonderful week it’s been for C.J. Tudor. A huge congratulations!
