Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman was published in paperback in the United Sates. Gail is currently on a US tour (check out the schedule here), and Saturday 9th June has been marked as Eleanor Oliphant Day, with events taking place on social media and in bookstores across the States.

Eleanor Oliphant is currently No. 1 in the Ebook chart for the 16th week, and No. 4 in the overall Top 50 Chart. Following Gail’s Italian tour, the book is now No. 4 on the Italian Bestseller List, and No. 2 on the Foreign Fiction list.

The Fear by C. L. Taylor has sold into Iceland, rights having been bought by N29. This is the first foray into Iceland for C. L. Taylor.

C. J. Tudor has now sold into her fortieth territory, rights for The Chalk Man having been sold in Indonesia to PT Elexmedia Komputindo.

With days to go until the publication of How Do you like Me Now? by Holly Bourne on 14th June, iBooks and Red Magazine have picked the book up as one of the books they’re loving in June. It also received a rave review in Thursday’s Evening Standard, which called it ‘an agitating portrayal of under-the-radar emotional abuse‘ and ‘truly a f***ing good novel‘.

The Bloody Scotland schedule was been released, with Caroline Mitchell speaking on a panel alongside Ruth Ware and Mel McGrath, and C.J Tudor appearing on one with Luca Veste and Alison Belsham. Bloody Scotland is Scotland’s international crime writing festival, and is taking place  on 21st – 23rd September in Stirling.

Christi Daugherty has been returning to her roots stateside, visiting various sweltering Southern States, and signing books at The Poisoned Pen, an independent bookshop in Scottsdale, Arizona. The second book in her Savannah-set crime series has been officially announced – The Beautiful Corpse will be published in 2019.
