The Agency is absolutely thrilled to introduce Hannah Ladds, our new dedicated Dramatic Rights agent, and the latest addition to our ever-growing team.
Hannah will be overseeing our clients’ book to screen rights, working with UK directors and producers, as well as our co-agents in Los Angeles and New York. Excitingly, Hannah will also be growing the Agency’s boutique list of scriptwriters, working with authors who are keen to develop their screenwriting abilities.
Our ongoing goal is to have an increased presence in the film and TV landscape, and Hannah brings an invaluable wealth of knowledge and experience that will aid this immensely. She started out with Fremantle Media, where she worked in various production roles on several high-profile shows, including The Apprentice, Chewing Gum and Britain’s Got Talent. Following a brief stint at Disney, she moved to Carnival Films, and has most recently been at the David Higham Agency.
Hannah commented: “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Madeleine Milburn Literary Film & TV Agency. With so much content currently being produced, this is a really exciting time for film and television and I can’t wait to work alongside the wonderful team and their incredible list of authors to bring their projects to the screen.”
Giles Milburn added: “With a particular passion for film, TV and books, and a proven track record within the Film and TV industry, Hannah is the ideal candidate to start this exciting new chapter for the MM Agency. We also want to thank Hayley Steed, who has worked so hard to get the agency’s film and TV department to where it is. She will now be able to focus entirely on her primary agenting, having done brilliantly juggling both up until this point.”
Welcome to the team, Hannah!
