This week has seen the UK cover reveal for a book we’re all hugely excited about, and we’ve had some wonderful chart news. Here are the highlights.

The UK cover for Ashley Audrain’s outstanding novel, The Push (Penguin Random House / Michael Joseph), has been revealed and it’s beautiful and sinister in equal measure…

Waterstones made its own special cover reveal, and called the novel an “unforgettable debut to look out for next year“.

We are completely over the moon to announce that Teresa Driscoll’s chilling psychological thriller, I Am Watching You (Amazon Publishing / Thomas & Mercer) has hit the million copies sold milestone – huge congratulations Teresa.

The novel is currently sitting at No. 3 in The Bookseller Heatseeker’s fiction chart, alongside Debbie Johnson’s Maybe One Day (Orion) at No. 5.

Remigiusz Mroz is the most popular author in Poland. The Nobel Prize winner Olga Tokarczuk is 2nd and Stephen King is 3rd. This is the first time in history that a living Polish author is in the top spot.

Erica Gillingham recommended Jane Healey’s The Animals at Lockwood Manor (Macmillan / Mantle) on BBC Front Row for #lesbianvisibilityweek.

The Animals at Lockwood Manor was also featured in a brilliant article in Pop Sugar, and Jane recently took part in a Q & A with her US publishers, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.

It’s been a wonderful week for Gail Honeyman’s uplifting multi-million copy bestselling novel, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine (HarperCollins / HarperFiction). The novel has re-entered the Irish bestseller list at No. 5, and is currently at No. 14 on the New York Times bestseller list.

L. P. Fergusson is the judge for this year’s Historical Writer’s Association Gold Crown. The Crowns are open to any book first published in English in the UK between 1 April 2019 and 31st March 2020 and the Gold Crown is for the best historical novel of the year.

Beth Morrey’s stunning debut, Saving Missy (HarperCollins / HarperFiction), has hit No. 1 in the Classic Literary Fiction category on Amazon this week.

The line up for BBC Culture’s Big Book Weekend Virtual Festival, taking place 8th – 10th May, has been announced and features Beth as one of its authors.

Elizabeth Kay gave a brilliant interview for Suffolk Libraries, where she spoke about her love for Jacqueline Wilson and her incredible debut novel, Seven Lies (Little, Brown / Sphere), which hit No. 25 in the charts this week!

Seven Lies was was also featured in the Big W Mother’s Day promotion space space in Hachette Australia’s catalogue.

Bestselling author Holly Bourne’s newly published adult novel, Pretending (Hodder & Stoughton), has hit No. 27 in UK hardback fiction charts this week.

Sarah Hagger-Holt’s Nothing Ever Happens Here (Usborne) has been longlisted for the Bristol Teen Book Award.

Beth Morrey, Clare Pooley and Abbie Greaves all took part in an inspiring live panel Q&A for I Am In Print this week, talking about their newly-published novels – Saving Missy, The Authenticity Project and The Silent Treatment respectively.

The paperback of Deborah O’Connor’s The Dangerous Kind (Bonnier Zaffre) spent four weeks in The Bookseller‘s Heatseeker’s Fiction chart following publication.

Darling Rose Gold (Penguin Random House / Berkley) by Stephanie Wrobel has been chosen as an Indie Next List pick this month in the US.

And Darling Rose Gold has been featured in a Pop Sugar Article called “27 Exciting Debut Authors You Can Support During the Shutdowns“.

Elizabeth Macneal’s breathtaking debut The Doll Factory (Macmillan / Picador) is at No. 108 in the top 5,000 bestselling titles this week.

Bestselling author Milly Johnson provided a wonderful quote for Abigail Mann’s The Lonely Fajita which is published by HarperCollins / One More Chapter next week: ‘Mann is a sparky new talent on the scene – I devoured The Lonely Fajita!’

C.L Taylor took part in a UK Crime Book Club Panel today, taking about her Sunday Times bestselling novel, Strangers (HarperCollins / Avon). This fabulous thriller has now sold over 10,000 hardback and ebook copies less than a month since publication.

Samuel Pollen took part in a brilliant event in collaboration with Book Bound 2020, where he gave a reading of his moving YA novel, The Year I Didn’t Eat (Zuntold). Check it out!
