What a week it’s been for cover reveals and awards. Here are the highlights…

The cover for Katherine May’s stunning new novel, Wintering, has been revealed and we absolutely love it. The novel will be released in early February 2020.

The beathtaking cover for Namina Forna’s The Gilded Ones was revealed this week on the hugely popular site, Refinery29. The article was titled: “The Gilded Ones Author Namina Forna Could Be The Toni Morrison Of YA Fantasy” – a stunning accolade for a stunning book!

It’s been the most brilliant week for C.J. Tudor’s The Chalk ManNot only was she the winner of the Barry Award for best first novel at Bouchercon 2019, it has triumphed at the inaugural Kniha roku (Book of the Year) awards in the Czech Republic this week, winning the suspense category. At this brand-new national event an industry jury creates a short list of titles from those nominated by the publishers. This list is then put to a public vote with the readers choosing the overall winners. C.J. Tudor’s Czech publishers, Euromedia, were there to collect this fantastic prize and join in the celebrations.

Poonam Mistry has been nominated for the CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal for the second time! Her stunning picture book, You’re Snug With Me, has been nominated for the hugely prestigious 2020 prize. The longlist will be announced on 20th February. Poonam’s debut picture book, You’re Safe With Me, was shortlisted this year for the 2019 award. Huge congratulations to Poonam on this enormous feat and we’ve got everything crossed for you.

Proofs of Holly Bourne’s new adult novel, Pretending, have landed and they are so, for want of a better word, COOL! Pretending is due to be published by Hodder & Stoughton in April 2020.

The hype around Beth Morrey’s gorgeous debut novel, Saving Missy, is ramping up, and those that can’t wait to get their hands on the stunning edition can sign up to receive a FREE e-sampler here. The novel is due to be published in February 2020. Only three months to go!

Four Agency books have been picked as top reads for 2020 in NetGalley’s latest email, which goes out to around 30,000 subscribers. Beth Morrey’s Saving Missy, Stephanie Wrobel’s The Recovery of Rose Gold, Elizabeth Kay’s Seven Lies, and Danielle Jawando’s And The Stars Were Burning Bright were all featured!

Wonderful German editions of Abbie Greaves’ The Silent Treatment have arrived at the office, and they are just GORGEOUS.

The Silent Treatment is due to be released in the UK in April 2020. Ahead of publication, the novel received a glowing endorsement from none other than international bestselling author Jojo Moyes herself:

C.L. Taylor’s brilliant novel, Sleep, has sold just under 40,000 paperbacks since its paperback publication in September. To date, the novel has sold an incredible 90,0000 ebooks.

Elizabeth Macneal’s stunning debut The Doll Factory has sold an outstanding 17,500 hardbacks since its publication in May – an outstanding feat.
